Turning
the Tide
the death of the "random" universe
The PLANET
designed for us
| Distance from Sun | ||
If
just 15% farther: planet would be too cold for
stable water cycle creating an endless ice age Others
have found a 2% change would eliminate all life from the
planet |

The list of "miraculous" criteria needed for life continues to grow with each new decade of discovery. Science is unavoidably coming face to face with God. |
Slightly
slower: surface temperatures would rocket up and
down wrecking the biosphere Slightly faster: wind gusts thousands of miles per hour would devastate the surface |
| Surface Gravity (escape velocity): | |
| If stronger:
the air would hold too much ammonia & methane killing
off life If weaker: the air would lose too much water destroying the water cycle11 |

Gravity Extra: The temperature of a planet and its surface gravity determine the escape velocity, a measure of which atmospheric gases dissipate to outer space and which are retained on earth. For a planet to support life, it is essential for water vapor (molecular weight 18) to be retained while molecules as heavy as methane (molecular weight 16) and ammonia (molecular weight 17) dissipate. Therefore, a change in surface gravity or temperature of just a few percent will make the difference between life and death.
Ross, The Creator and the Cosmos, p.135
Taking these and just a handful of the other criteria modern
scientists have found, we discover fewer than a trillionth of a
trillionth of a percent of all stars will have a planet capable
of sustaining advanced life.
The universe contains only a trillion galaxies (each averaging a billion stars).
NO PLANETS
SHOULD HAVE LIFE

DID THE STARS, THE PLANETS,
AND EVEN THE CHEMICALS SEE US COMING?
"A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests that a superintellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with chemistry and biology, and that there are no blind forces worth speaking about in nature. The numbers one calculates from the facts seem to me so overwhelming as to put this conclusion almost beyond question.13
